Not much is known about where M.A.C. 5 was built or who built it for that matter. M.A.C. 5 was a run-down construct Dak Sorren recently won in a poker game in some obscure gambling den near the Outer Fringe Sector. From what Dak can gather, “MAC”, was a prototype security construct possibly made by Jumpcorp or even the military section of the United Confedaracy. MAC’s data core was wiped clean by whoever got rid of it, so its true origin will forever remain a mystery. All that remained on it were the etchings “Mobile Armored Construct” and the number “5” on its frame. Dak spent good credits to have MAC rebuilt and upgraded to serve as the security construct for the Lucky Strike.
